Day spa - A dedicated spa facility offering spa treatments in a therapeutic/relaxing environment with relevant supporting facilities such as a relaxation room, plunge pool/jacuzzi and steam room, or treatment rooms designed incorporating such facilities. Resort spa - A day spa operating within a holiday resort, where the resort offers a variety of leisure activities. Hotel spa - A day spa operating within a hotel, where the hotel offers limited leisure activities. Destination spa - A dedicated spa facility offering professional spa treatments in a therapeutic/relaxing environment and packaged with accommodation, spa cuisine and customised wellness and lifestyle programs. Mineral springs spa - A day spa offering professional spa treatments and utilising natural waters and/or mud, which may or may not provide accommodation. Medical spa - A day spa operating within, or integrated with a medical establishment, such as a medical centre, health centre, hospital or rehabilitation centre, where the spa treatments incorporate customised, pre or post medical care. Club spa - A day spa operating within a health, sports, recreational or social club facility. Salon spa - Primarily a beauty therapy salon or hair salon, which also offers spa treatments in a facility that does not provide supporting facilities. Retail spa - Primarily a skin care retail outlet, which also offers spa treatments in a facility that does not provide supporting facilities. Slimming centre spa - Primarily a slimming centre, which also offers spa treatments in a facility that may or may not provide supporting facilities.
